i have a piece of sdram with two notches in it is there any way of telling the speed and size of it with out putting it in a pc
Find out which company it's from and/or any other serial numbers. It might say on the ram card. If it does, go to google and look up the company name and/or the serial numbers. Other than that, there's no way of knowing unless u try it
i have had a look at the ram there is a sticker like the old-fashioned price tag with MX mxkz6 05 printed on it, the only other labelling is printed on each chip of which there is 8 on each side. the printing on each chip is as follows 0312404CT3A 75A 09K0591 IBM 14 34 A43027G7 PQ Does this mean anything
It's from the company century-micro http://www.supermicro.com/support/resources/memory/PC133.cfm?chp=2&mem=256 but couldn't find more info. perhaps do yourself a favor and test the ram on ur computer
