Sony I have heard are excellent... what do you guys think/use Discuss
Currently I have a spindle of Memorex, or is it Office Depot, sorry I am at school so I don't have immediate access to them. Anyways, I went to Office Depot and got the cheapest 52X CDs and they work like a dream.
The only problems I ever had were with Imation. But we're talking neglegible, really. I never had any problem what so ever with any write-once media. I used known brands and some really cheap ones. All worked a charm. I am currently having some problems with DVD-RW from Maxell. Out of five disks two have developed some problems but are sort of usable. So far my favourite brand is Verbatim for both CD and DVD. However, due to price, I tend to get the cheapest possible, usually 25 disk spindle which lasts for quite a while....
Cheapest for me, I can go through CDRs like tins of soup (i like soup) and so i get the most for my money. None have failed me, some discs i've used in the past were very cheap and no label/a bit cheap feel but they still worked. I usually use datawrite cds, bulkpaq dvds, imation cd-rws.
I never have problems with no name generic CD-R's, assuming I'm not doing anything CPU intensive like gaming while I'm trying to burn. I suggest just getting the cheapest stuff you can find, and don't bother with the brand name media.
