Streaming Internet TV to Television

I currently have Comcast Cable and with all the internet tv channels that are coming out, I want to turn off my cable and replace my tv channels with an internet solution.

I'm wanting to know how to stream internet TV to my television! What hardward would I need?

Is there a box like slingbox that I can buy or would a PC with media center and a TV Tuner card be the best way to go?
