I curently have windows xp professional; I am trying to install/upgrade to Media Center 2005 (2discs). Ok I pop in disc 1 and the auto run comes on, I select upgrade installation-then I go through normal setup/installation procedures. The installation continues and completes without asking for disc 2. Computer reboots and enters windows. Seems like it did install since it 60day activation thing pops up. The problem is that its still windows xp pro, not media center. The start button still even says xp professiona..... What is going on? Don't tell me I got to do a full install...that would suck!
