I'm looking for suggestions on websites to buy computer hardware cheaply, my first call was overclockers.co.uk (the site I've got all my parts from), but recently they have been messing around with an order I placed almost a month ago. On Christmas Day I ordered a new 3d graphics card, a Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb to be exact, which cost me the hefty sum of about £170 including VAT and shipping. But it still has not shipped, many of my games will not work with my ASUS as it does not support pixel shading, I called overclockers only to be informed that a shipment containing my order was damaged so they've sent it back for replacement, so I have to wait for the replacement to arrive before they ship my card. They did not contact me whatsoever with this information, nor am I able to email them, I have to call them, which takes a good half-hour to get through to someone, so I have reached the end of the line with them, once my card arrives I will no longer deal with them. Does anyone have any sites that provide good quality hardware at cheap(ish) prices such as overclockers did? Thanks.
Woah, great savings there, a 256mb Radeon card for less than £100. Not at all bad. What's even better is that the card I'm waiting for (or one of similar specs) is £135 including VAT, the one on overclockers is £129 EXCLUDING VAT, but £152 with VAT, I think I've found the better dealer, thanks very much, 01bolandn. :good:
