Hello. During this summer, I'm going to build myself a laptop. If I can get a list of parts about a week before my birthday, (June 9th) I'll probably get most of them for free. Please suggest reading material, tutorials, and direct advice. Here's what I (a coder, gamer, cad/animator, and meme junky. In that order) expect from it: 1. Lightweight and durable ( . I lose and drop stuff a lot. Isn't there something that tracks down mobile devices?) 2. Fast (Probably the most important thing for me.) 3. Graphics card (It should handle 3d very fast) I care much less about memory (about 200gb should do, no need to go into the terabytes), and the screen doesn't have to be overly large, but good quality (resolution, color). Any serious artwork will be done at home, with several monitors. Oh, and a builtin camera/mic would be useful, but not necessary. Plugs for monitors are essential. Fast wifi is very important, and a decent number of usb ports (4?). I'd be also very fun to have a RFID reader/editor/emitter, but that's not really necessary. I'm going to run linux on it. (Not sure which distro. Mint, or maybe ubuntu. Possible debian). Am I missing anything? Oh, right: I have about 150$ to spend on it, and I'll get maybe 100$ in gifts. I also have a toshiba satalite that I could dissect for parts. Thanks in advance, Glycan
