??? system disk ???

hello does anybody know how to make a system disk to boot from so you can
format your hard drive.i know you need to have the basic elements on the disc but i dont no what they are? or how to find them? and place them on the floppy disc

The command "format a: /s" will format your floppy and create the basic files needed for booting the computer though if you need to use your CD ROM drive you will need the relevant drivers. You could also use the Explorer by right-clicking on the A: drive, selecting format and checking the "Create an MS-DOS startup disk" option.
