Hi there... I've put together a new PC some days ago and I would like to know if my system overall temperature is safe. Here the details as Everest 2006 reports (it's in spanish but you will find no problems reading it):

    Propiedades del sensor:
Tipo de sensor Winbond W83627EHF/EHG, Fintek F75383S/384S (ISA A10h, SMBus 4Ch)
Tipo de Sensor GPU Maxim MAX6646 (NV-I2C 4Ch)
Nombre de la Placa Base MSI MS-7250 / MS-7260
Intrusión detectada en el chasis Sí

    Temperaturas:
    Placa base 43 °C (109 °F) MSI K9N SLI Platinum
    Procesador 48 °C (118 °F) (Athlon64 X2 3600 Dual Core)
    CPU Nº 1 / núcleo Nº 1 42 °C (108 °F)
    CPU Nº 1 / núcleo Nº 2 38 °C (100 °F)
    Aux 42 °C (108 °F)
    GPU 52 °C (126 °F) MSI NX7600GT 256MB
    GPU Diode 47 °C (117 °F)
    GPU (ambiente) 40 °C (104 °F)
    Maxtor 6L250S0 48 °C (118 °F) HD
    Seagate ST340810A 46 °C (115 °F) HD

    Ventiladores (fans):

    Thanks in advance!

All looks good to me :D

I dont know what temps HDD's normally run at, but they do get quite toasty.... so i would think 46°C is fine.

I think seagate say to make sure they remain below 69'c and western digital drives pop up a smart warning at 60'c and will shutdown at 65'c. I dont know what maxtor says.
Its not the thermal rating of either of your drives but its some indication. None of our 6 drives go above 45'c for comparison.

A program like [google]Speedfan[/google] has some diagnostics that can bring up some data about your hard drive if you analyze it. One thing it analyzes is the temperatures and tell you what the normal range for them is.
