Get this after logging into Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit admin account.

There was a problem starting C:\Windows\system32\msdhgjpd.dll
    Access is denied.

What's causing this and denying me access to my own computer?

do you mean your account or Administrator (the hidden one?).
either way, check your Anti-virus ( including windows defender) for any quarantined software. they may have locked down the app but not the link to open it.
    to remove:
autoruns by Sysinternals (owned my microsoft) will give you a list of all startup software.
Be careful!! only remove files if you KNOW what they are. you won't kill you system, but you could cause more errors.
