ok, i got an aspire x dreamer case
it has a built in temperature gauge. i got the case a couple weeks ago. i turned on my case a couple days ago and my display read "L" but the heatsink was reallllly hot. so i tested the probe, didnt work. i swapped it with a different probe and it worked for a few days fine and dandy until it read the same display "L"

thats all it says. i have no idea whats up with this, or im just doing something wrong

i have my probe right between my heatsink and cpu. is that where it sould be, i have no idea.

This can be good or bad, depending on where the probe is at. It shouldn't be between the core and the CPU, but off to the side. I wonder if that's where you have it, and if so, I bet the heatsink crushed it. That's probably why it's not displaying the temps.
