I'm planning to buy a TFT monitor. I've seen an Acer 19' monitor that looks good. However, I've noticed that some other manufacturers have included something called 'automatic image adjustment' with their TFT monitors, e.g. Sony. I am beggining to wonder just how important this feature is. I would be grateful for any information about this. Also, is there any special consideration when using Linux.
sorry about the late reply. automatic image adjustment feature optimizes your display’s performance instantly, so to say it constantly looks at whats being displayed and changes the settings. when using linux I believe you have to look a Nvidia video cards to support the lcd resolution because ATI video cards don't have as much support for linux.
