(wait, i'm not starting that again, cos i always forget someone) so, thanks to you all (you know who you are) but anyway, i've compiled, installed and created my first .deb BTW: i created a .deb of OpenSSH, basically it is a free Secure Network Protocol (SNP) that can be used to establish a secure connection over the net (whether the computers are in separate rooms or on separate continents) V V cool Edit: although OpenSSH was originally developed on BSD it can be used on many different OSs, however, the version of OpenSSH that is not for BSD has the version number prefixed by a "p" (Portable)
