I just bought a brand new Philips 190c6 19" TFT display. I need to know if there is any way or program so that I will set up the display correctly so that I will have the best picture the display can give. It is supplied with software which lets you alters colours etc. but I dont know which is the best setup for it.

Setup isn't really necessary for monitors, basically choose the resolution your prefer (usually 1024x768 or higher) and thats it. You can change colour settings, but the default ones will be ok or best. Its just personal preference but you won't lose anything changing nothing.

The LCD has an "Auto" setup function. I think it will give the best performance out of it..

auto option is the best bet, other wise from experience there isn't much you can change to improve it, also the native resolution of the LCD the one to use.

Yes, that monitor should have a native resolution of 1280x1024, this res should be used to get optimal picture quality and to prolong the life of the screen, Other than that, there is nothing else you need to know :)
Some possibly useful stuff can be found Here and Here :good:
