The Large Hadron Corridor, LHC for short, is a giant particle acceleration, and they have made some pretty exciting discoveries. Apparently, they have made a world wide computing grid which in theory would allow internet speeds of 1 gigabit per second. The LHC is currently processing the information, pretty exciting stuff. Yeah, i just thought about this, but with speeds being that high, and like the article suggested, there will be no need to anyone to have a computer, just a box to connect to where you need. I'm not sure i follow that, with that logic there would have to be a HUGE super computer that would be able to computer the worlds needs for what they need. Yeah, maybe a hundred years from now, maybe two hundred years from now, yeah, maybe. I still think that that level won't be reached for quite some time, and in the mean time, i'll enjoy the fact that i OWN my computer.
