so i was just curious so i looked around and then downloaded and installed a patch. Well two of them. OK so i got the patch from a real crappy server took a long time, and everything. installed it and then went to play and there were no servers, did the same thing with a previous patch version. of coarse i had to uninstall before hand, so then i the original without any patch and same thing. So i then clicked refresh list and viola. Crap man, three uninstals and installs later and all i had to do was press a button  :smahd:
Swansen, I don't think I'm alone when I say I rarely understand your posts. The problem seems to be that you don't put anything you say into context. The only way I found out what your post was about was to look at the forum it was posted in. Please, explain your problem a bit more rather than random thoughts which only you know the context for.
oh man, i seriously laughed for like 10 minutes straight, that was probably the best thing ever, no i'm just going to put a big link to this thread in my sig. Lol, i don't mean to be that way, but for the sake of discussion i'll explain. Ok so it was in Call of duty 2 and i looked around the net, just for kicks, and i found a couple patches. I downloaded one and installed it and when i went to play multi play there were no servers. I had no idea what was going on. Unistalled the game and installed the other patch thinking that no one had installed the patch as Activision doesn't advertise or make you download any patches. So i installed the other patch after re-installing the game and the same situation. So same procedure, un-install and re-install and back to the unpatched game. Still no servers, then it hit me, cause i am blind, pressed the refresh button and then up came the servers. So again unistall blah blah patch going and refresh and it turns out most people have the latest patch. So it took almost a whole day, but lesson learned if all goes bad, start pressing buttons.
