I can understand why pc133 is quite expensive and also rdram but why are simms so expensive. Ive been having a bit of a sort out of computer crap and found 7 simm I had forgotten all about. I typed in the numbers on the side only to find they cost around $100 each! They are 72pin sticks but im sure they are only 2mb. Who on earth buys these things? I gather some simms can go in printers n stuff but these are junk, I think? Certified Original GOLDSTAR p/n GMM7322100B now available This is just one place selling them for $100. There are more places selling 2mb simms for this price. Even ebay!
Price and demand. The demand is very, very low on SIMMs, and in order to justify the cost, the price goes up.
