Too Fast

    This is the first computer ive ever built and i wanted to know if the chipset fan running at 6000 rpm is too fast. I have an Asus A8N-E MoBo.

    Nope, the faster the better, unless you're worried about noise. If so you can change some settings in the BIOS to make it slow down. But the noise difference will be minimal.

    the average chipset speed is about 5500 but 6000 is just fine, as max said-unless your worried about noise!

    If the fan isn't acceptable, Zalman makes a fine passive northbridge cooler.
