OK, should be finnishing the build of my new gaming rig tomorrow and I was wondering, after installing windows home (The new build has a new Sata HDD) how do I copy over all my game save's to it from my old pc that one is IDE HDD I realy dont want to lose all my Oblivion stuff
Games normally store there saves in there program folder (/program files/Obilion?) or in My Documents (so different users dont affect each others saves). Online only games normally save everything on the server to prevent people editing there characters!
Oblivion aint online. If both computers are on a network, just share another partition on your old computer and access it over the network and put your game saves in it, or you could put the ide hdd in your new righ just to transfer game saves, or use floppy disk or cd.
