is there any TV Tuners out there that let you recive satelite channels like SKY ONE etc.. withought actually having a SKy Digital box?, i dont mean freeview, that can only recive SKy Three.
Yea, my dad is a SKy customer, we have a box downstairs and sat on side of house, what about if i ran a cable straigt from the satelite to the tv tuner, what would i get then? would i get any other channels?, all i want is SKy ONE to watch the simpsons and futurama , its lame that they only put SKy THREE on Freeview :'(
you need another SKY decoder (box) and a few years ago you would have needed a dish with a dual LNB (low noise block) (horn thing on the end on the arm) but nowadays you need to upgrade the LNB and run a separate cable to each receiver (box) or just run a cable from the main receiver to your TV (but you'll be restricted to watching the channel their watching downstairs
i used to have it were you could see the channel there watching downstairs, but it was crap , looks like i will have ot get another box, but those bxes are expensive
