    Hi, i downloaded a copy of Ubuntu for amd 64, about 3.5gb, and it says that its a live cd, anyway to make it into a proper installed version on the hard drive as i want to install my own apps and thing etc.. and i dont want to download a new version.

    What are you asking?

    Use the Live CDs installer to install it to the hard disk.
