Just wondering. I'm running Ubuntu Dapper Beta - everything seems to be working well. Would it be worth me upgrading to one of the later versions and would a later version just install and leave all my data, apps, etc, intact? Many thanks, David.
If you've been installing the updates for Dapper then you won't be running the beta version anymore. You should be running the stable version I'd advise against upgrading to Edgy Eft because it can and will cause problems. If you really want to try the latest version you'd be better off doing a clean install. I've only installed Edgy on my laptop (Xubuntu). But I think i'll hold on to my Dapper installations until Fiesty comes out next year
