I am looking for a new ISP because I'm with Tiscali and it's teh sux0r because:

    • It's much slower than what I thought it would be
It costs more than I thought it would
It chokes my connection to death with I use P2P, even off-peak!
I can't understand what the call centre staff are saying
All I want is an ADSL ISP between 2MB and 8MB that doesn't throttle all my bandwidth, is as fast as advertised, cost under £25 a month and is either unlimited or had a decent usage cap (10GB+ peak, 300GB off-peak would be ideal). Anybody have any suggestions?
I've thought of Virgin media, Surf Any Time, Firefly and Naims ... but still undecided!

    I highly recommend BE Internet

Speeds upto 24Mb depending on phone line quality, I get around 12/14Mb down and 1MB up. No limits on downloads that I'm aware of.

I'd switch to a new ISP, since £18 for 2mbit is a bit steep, but my phone line really sucks. Most line check sites say it can only support 2/2.5mbit download speeds.
