I have a ultra x-connect 500w power supply and I was thinking of switching out the 2 80mm fans for some quieter ones. The fans I am going to use have a rpm of 1400-2200 and a CFM of 18-28. Will these fans be good enough to use. Or should I not change the fans in the power supply. Please help if you can Brand of fans are "Silenx" Thank You
if you change it out with anything quieter your PSU will die of heat. 1400-2200 RPM is nothing. Shouldn't be able to hear it when mounted inside of a case. If the fans were something along the lines of 3000-3500 RPM you might be able to slightly notice them.
