Ok. The situation.
I have an iBook G4. I am currently connected to an external KB/Mouse/Monitor using a KVM cable. I decided that I wanted to use my TV instead. So, I bought a monster iTV iLink cable. Now, my TV does not have S-Video. So, bought a Audio/Video selector (PH61153).
My iBook is connected to the PH61153 via the monster cable and the selector to the TV via RCA jacks. My cable works just fine. My iBook output? not working. It is connected tot he selector on the first priority input jacks.

Help! Should I change channels? Switch off the cable box? Change screen resolution? Putting the laptop to sleep and then waking it up did not help. Rebooted with all the connections in place. Did not help. What am I doing wrong?

By default, most video adapters do not output to the S-Video out jack, and that's something you'd have to do under the video card's properties. I wouldn't know where this would show up under OS X as I've never used it before.
