Hello I am the happy owner of a Vaio FX805. Until around four months ago I had no problems downloading programmes from the internet, such as new version of Media Player or just simple downloadable screensavers etc. Now when I try to download programme, I click on "download" and the web page in question and other open web pages, close down immediately. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem? P.S. There may be a possibility that this has occurred as a result of upgrading XP through the internet. Please, please, please hah:
The simple answer to your question is, if your still using IE then upgrade it to Firefox, and if you are using Firefix then try re-installing it. I never bother answering peoples questions on how to fix IE, I just consider it to be inherently broken.
