Over the past few weeks, i have had about 3 random shutdowns, i belive the problem is the cathode tube inside, today the cathode tube wasent lighting properly, i have it on the option so it flashes when there is sound, i got it to start flashing properly, now i turned the tube on so that it was always on, and as soon as i did this, the computer shut off, and i couldent turn it back on, i had to turn the power supply off by the switch on the back, and then wait 5 mins, and it fire up fine, whats going on? is this a power supply problem?? :s

Did you turn the cathode tube on/off while the computer was running? If so then it could have been a power spike/dip that caused your system to shutdown.

Yep, sounds like either a power drain or a bad Inverter.
If you've got an old PSU lying around, run the Cathode off that.
