    hello all!
    my specs are:
cpu: Intel Celeron M 570 @2.26GH -support: Socket 478 mPGA
motherboard: HP 308A, chipset: intel gme965
graphics: Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset family.(x3100) [IMG]

So, i found a pentium T2390 Dual Core at 1.86Gh. This pentium was in a laptop
with my same specs(chipset 965, x3100, same socket etc...).
Will this be a good upgrade choise? Will i have any problems installing it, or problems after installing it?

Also the pentium t2390 has the speedstep technology
and also executes disable bit...are these two bios utilities? do i need to upgrade my bios? or something else?
I mean do i just replace the celeron with the pentium and i am ok?

    thanks

First you need to know the Motherboards Make and model, Next the 478 socket is an older motherboard... What is the socket of the Laptop ? I think you are going to have stick with another Celeron , But just a higher model...
