I have a pentium 4 640 3.2 processor, running on an old ecs board. I have been reading all that i can, to find the right motherboard for my upgrade. The only new motherboard that i can find that specificly states my processor is supported is the Intel D975XBX2 and other various intel boards. This is found on the intel supported processor page for the mobos. I really want an EVGA nForce 680i SE SLI (TR Version), so that i can upgrade my processor later, but i don't know if this mobo will support the processor that i have. If anyone can help me find a good new mobo for the processor that i have, it will be greatly appreciated! Thank You
I'm not too hot on Pentium's but these are all socket 775 boards Components ยป Motherboards - Overclockers UK These should surely be fine? (AMD man here tho so don't take my word as gospel )
