So I wake up one morning and I think to myself, right I'm sick of my office PC task manager reporting CPU at 100% when I delete a page in acrobat, I'm gunna max out this piece of junk. so I went online and got myself the best upgrade, I wasn't in the mood for silly buggers.

I waited for me boss to go out and I opened the thing and upgraded it with the new parts. After the upgrade I noticed there was little performance gain, when it draws the vector images the speed and pace it draws is exactly the same, both cpu cores are around 40 - 45% instead of 100% which is why I upgraded because I thought the cpu was to blame.

    here is the upgrade:

    FROM
    CPU sempron 1.6GHz
    RAM: 1GB single-channel

    TO
    CPU: athlon 64 x2 6400 3.2GHz
    RAM 2GB PC2-6400 800MHz 4-4-4-12 dual-channel

Whats the problem guys, its my new understanding that the program itself is limited to its own performance.

    Is this true?

The program Im using us adobe acrobat 6, (around 3yrs old)
