I have the Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS and I would like to upgrade to the Nvidia GeForce 9800 GTX+. Here is the link to the card I want on Newegg:

    Newegg.com - EVGA 512-P3-N879-AR GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

My question is this; is my CPU up to the task? I have Intel Core 2 Quad @ 2.4Gh.

Will my processing speed bottleneck the capabilities of this graphics card or should I be fine?

I would just like to be sure before I buy it.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Just a general "you're probably ok" or a "you might need some more horsepower" is fine; I'm not going to hold anyone to it. Just looking for general impressions.

I think the 9800 should be a decent upgrade. On the flipside, depending on your resolution, you may not notice an improvement, which would suck. If you're looking at 1600x1200 or higher, it'd be worth it. Otherwise, stick with what you got.
