When I connect my flash drive (or any other USB 2.0) high speed device to front USB ports in my Asus K8V-VM Ultra Motherboard which has
8 USB 2.0 ports (4 at rear and 4 other inside which can be connected to cabinet) , A balloon message appears at bottom right of the screen saying I have connected a high speed device to non high speed port. On clicking it shows me list of available ports (interestingly 8 in number) to which I can connect.

    What I have tried

I have checked the internal Wires where USB1-4 are directly connected at rear and USB 5 & 6 are connected to the cabinet through set of wires. I have tried to swap the USB 5 & 6 with USB 7 & 8 but problem persists and speed continues to be slower than when connected to USB 1- 4.

Please help as it really is a pain to plug your Flash drive to rear end for faster file transfers.

    Thanks
