My USB ports are not working. I have a Biostar M7VIP motherboard with VIA VT8367 Apollo KT333 northbridge and VIA VT8233/8235 southbridge. I downloaded the drivers (for Win XP though I use Ubuntu mostly) and got everything else working but not USB. The device manager detects my USB ports but they don't work. They don't even give power to my devices. What's the problem?

Do the USB ports work in Ubuntu?

No they don't. I hoped they will work in Win cause there are official drivers for Windows.

Go to Device Manager and uninstall them... Restart you computer and Windows will detect the new Hardware and will ask u to install them... Go ahead with that wizard..see if it works..:eek:hah:
