USB hub doesn't recognize bluetooth dongle

    Hi,

    I just bought this usb hub and it doesn't recognize the Bluetooth dongle without the software's CD is in, even though the software is already installed.
    The hub recognizes my usb flash drive just fine..

    What happens when you plug the bluetooth dongle directly into one of the USB ports of your computer? Does it recognize it then. If not, then either the installation is messed up or the bluetooth dongle is broken. Also, have you tried plugging it into other computers?

    Yes, it works fine in any of the USB ports. It's that I've decided to the use a hub because using USB ports a lot kind of loosen them and make it difficult to detect whatever is plugged in.
