    Hey all

I need to move some stuff from a Win ME PC to another. The total size unfortunately is larger than a floppy drive so I want to put the lot on my USB drive. Are there generic drivers for USB sticks or are the drivers specific to each device make and model?

    Cheers!!

no, everything that is required is already installed into Win98 SE & above[ot]just plug the pen into the USB & it will be detected, officially on Win ME your supposed to select remove the item from systray but i never did, i just pulled it out & let Win have another error message[/ot]

Edit: all USB pens are generic

You should just need the USB Mass Storage driver, but I'm not sure if its included in ME.

Thanks guys! I will give it a go.
Just to be on the safe side, I will take two types, 256MB stick and a 2GB one.

    Hopefully one will work.

Good ol' win ME hey?
