My old system died, so I bought a new one. I was going to plug my old Cd-Burner up as a second drive for disc to disc copies, but I discovered that my new system only works with SATA, and my Burner is ATA, so it's sitting in my closet.

I don't really know what to do with it. It's a perfectly good drive and seems a waste to toss it, but I don't know what to do with it. Anyone else have old ATA burners? And if so, what have you done with them?

You could buy an external USB enclosure with an internal ATA connector for it. Just drop the drive in, and you've got an external burner.
