I need a new Raid Controller card. My board supports PCI-X, but as a "graphics slot". Can you use IO cards in the "graphics slot" if you are using a PCI or on-board graphics controller? It seems that when PCI-X came out it was primarily for graphics, then PCI-E took over. I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a controller card, then only have to go buy a new MB and CPU too. Your thoughts are appreciated.
