Yes, so, not that that title made much sense, but, i have a bunch of AVI's and i am wanting to get them to play on a DVD player and no, it doesn't support Xvid or Divx. I have Nero 8, but i haven't found an option to where it will transcode the avi's to a DVD format. Anyone have any ideas/links ??? thanks

well, i was going to ask if you wanted to burn the avi to either DVDr/RW or CDr/RW

it was possible to write a CD & a CD created in the same format as a DVD was called a Mini-DVD, but i'm not sure it can be created today or not. a DVD can be created by using [google]DVD authoring[/google] software

yes, ether way, it didn't help me, i completely forgot that avi's are compressed, so when put into a DVD playable format it wouldn't have worked out. I have like 29gb of avi's i was going to put onto playable DVDs and that wouldn't have work out, i could only fit 7 to a DVD.
