Maybe I'm missing something or my phoneline is being stupid again but recently downloading anything has been extremely slow and ponderous. A single 2.7MB song took like 40 minutes and most annoying of all I couldn't even get my updated drivers from nVidia that I really need. I was connected at about 38k (usually I get 45.2 but I didn't feel like disconnecting and reconnecting again) and went to nVidia's site to download the latest graphics drivers and at my first attempt I got to 66k downloaded of the 20MB's and it just stopped doing anything, it didn't cancel, or pause, just no activity. I pressed "retry" and let it go overnight as it said it would take about 3.5hrs at 1.4kps (ugh!) and when I got up this morning it had made it to about 1.4MB's so so and it just stopped like the last attempt. I'm at 45.2k now but I don't think it should make a differece. Any ideas or explanations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
i dont mean to imply that you're dumb or anything, but it's just a random idea... have you tried rebooting (you ARE running windows yunno)
lol, yeah, I reboot alot and I'm not seeing a turn-about here. We'll I suppose I could try it again...
