video editing software

    i want to edit my mpeg 2 files!! or worst come and can redo the mpeg 2 files in avi if need be but i haven't got any software to edit the video footage!

    where can i get some free editing software all i want to do is cut it a bit,

    windows free software is no good it wont let me download it :(

    VirtualDub should be able to handle what you want it to.

    ok i've found how to edit! how can i burn to a dvd, and watch on a standard dvd player?
