Video to pc problem

    I have just bought the happauge HVR-1100 tv card and installed it and its drivers but i can't seem to be able to view what is on the vhs video i am using a lead with audio left audio right and video connected to the card and on the other end i have a scat connector inserted into the video can anybody help please.

    what exactly are you wanting to achive[ot]presumably you want to play vids on the VCR and watch the vid on your system[/ot]

    I want to be able to copy my wedding off the vhs onto a dvd

    i don't know how to use the specific software you have / came with the card, but connect everything and set the video playing, and try to view the output of the video on whatever software you have, or try recording to MPG then tranfer the MPG (you created) from HDD to DVD[ot]BTW: I've never transfered from VHS to DVD, but that's how i would think it would work

    Edit: create an MPG on your HDD then i think you can copy the vid to DVD or convert the vid to vob's (DVD format)[/ot]

    Did you select the source? Source as in not channels, but input. I have a card from happauge and if their software hasnt changed much lately, you should be able to select the source by either right clicking on the picture, or on a button (which i'm not sure, sorry, i dont use it anymore)
