Hi there. I have somehow managed to get a very anoying virus onto my computer. I have AVG free edition, which seems to find the virus's and delete them, seem to be mainly trojan Horses of some sort. But when ever it deletes them, whithin 20 minets they are back. They keep appearing in C: Doc and Settings/Local Settings/Temp i think the main thing they are doing is constantly opeing IE webpages advertising spyware removers. I use lavasoft ad-aware and have done spyware scans and i have done virus scans with avg, but after its deleted all of the viruses, they just apear back 20 minuets later. Is there a program that may be reinstalling them? I am using Windows Xp. Any help would be great Scott
firsly get rid o AVG, it's ok, but Avast is much better & try using Firefox 2 instsead of IE, Firefox is far more secure (when i used Win, i used Firefox) BTW: it's better to scan for spyware & viruses in safe mode, as less files are being used, so, more are available to be scanned
