Are there any known sound driver issues with vista and x-fi ? because my sound after crackles or goes quiet etc, problems i never had with xp.
I don't know of any problems since I don't have either, but it may well be the drivers. Check here: X-Fi Zone: X-Fi Crackling Continues Even though you don't have an nForce4 motherboard, some people's comments say that they get the same problems with different motherboards.
