Im wanting to start using directx 10 so looks like i'll be moving to vista.
My problem is im not sure which version to get.
I use my comp mainly for gaming, media and artworking.
Just looking for some info on the differences between Basic, premium and ultimate and whether i'll need to have the 64 or 32 bit versions.

    Thanks.

For information about the versions, look here.
Basic is for people that have a slow pc or who want the cheapest version possible (it hasn't got the glass theme). Premium is good for most of everyone (good for home use and gaming). Ultimate has all features possible for Vista. It has features like remote desktop, bitlocker encryption etc.

You'll only need the 64 bit version if you have more than 3 GB of RAM. Otherwise I'd recommend to use the 32 bit version, because there aren't many 64 bit versions of software.
