I exchanged for WD Elements 500GB, not more than two hours ago. Beautiful thing and works flawlessly. The (1kb) icon in Vista's explorer however, is hideous. So i found another small picture of a Mac HD, edited it in Photoshop, saved as a (51kb) .ico, renamed the current icon in hidden folder (\autorun), then disconnected and reconnected the drive. Windows now doesn't recognize the hard disk, Disk Management is unable to initialize the disk and throws up a "file not found" (not CRC) error. I know I've messed up and won't try it again.
