Web development VAT and Ltd trading

Hello all,

Do any of you guys know anything about VAT registraion and Ltd company formation (less of a problem) if you are a web developer? Im asking for somebody else but he's not sure if VAT is applicable to web development. Any info is appreciated.

In my limited experience with them, I don't know of any VAT included in a web development service.
 
i often have VAT queries at work and when i dont know or not sure i ring HM Revenue % Customs, they have dedecated VAT helplines that are actually really helpful.
