What is a good IRC client to use?

    I want to try IRC, but I have no idea of what client is good to use. I was looking at mIRC, but I want a free one that isnt a trial. I am running Windows XP. Any suggestions?

    EDIT: nevermind, i found Icechat 7 and it seems to be ok
