I've read reviews on a whole buch of websites and all nobooks have their ups and downsides so I'm having a hard time deciding. I want a powerful desktop with atleast: 2GHz processor TV Tuner 17" screen Pentium 4 or Mobile Centrino Weight not an issue Please suggest one that you've used within my budget of 1.3k. Thanks you.

I'd say go for an IBM Thinkpad. You've got enough money for a mig-range Thinkpad, and they're great. If they don't have a tv tuner, you can get a USB one.
