Is the video card the main thing that contributes to your score in things like 3dmark03. I have:

    2.2 ghz P4
    Geforce FX 5200
    512mb DDR Corsair Pc2100
    Asus P4P800

and I get about 865 marks in 3dmark03. If I were to upgrade the RAM would it change the score much? Or is it really only the videocard that matters?

Mad Onion (now Futuremark) has made this version even more video card dependend. I don't put much stock in it as there is evidence that it's not a fair benchmark in favor of nVidia. Benchmarks do have their purpose, but they mean nothing if you can't do any real gaming.
