What to do with Yahoo Messenger?~!....?

there are so many things happening with me in yahoo messengers chat room. Sometimes my computer reboots automatically, sometimes it freezes, sometimes only one person holds the mic and put it on some music............there are so many things happens to me when I use it. Is there any cure? I dont want to use any other messenger like MSN etc... I love this one, just wants to know if there is any way to stop happening all this.
 
if you're dead determined to use yahoo and it doesn't stop messing up, would you consider using trillian instead? it combines yahoo as well as many other instant messengers. i personally don't like it because of its layout, but thats just me.

its not really similar looking to yahoo, but its pretty much like you can use your yahoo screen name and talk to yahoo buddies. . . just not on yahoo.

but then again, you do prefer yahoo :P i dunno.

edit: or maybe you could try using a slightly earlier version?
 
I would go with the above post and try using something else...at least temporarily to see if Yahoo! is the culprit.
 
So, you guys are saying that I will be able to use the Yahoo Chat room with these messenger's as well?
 
with trillian, yes, with msn. . not right now, i don't think. but i don't mean the chatrooms where you have a topic to talk about, like the yahoo political chat rooms or something. i mean private IM windows. with trillian, you can talk to the same people you were talking to on yahoo, and with your yahoo screen name, if i'm not mistaken. its been a long while since i've used it. but trillian and yahoo look very very different.

Thats the place where everything happens. Somebody can hold the mike by using somekind of software and others reboot my PC, sometimes freeze the Yahoo Messanger bla bla bla.... Many more things happen to me.
I ve heard one guy was requesting other guy to give his ID and password back coz they have hacked it and were asking him that what to reply to that lady from London?
I just wants to know, is there any way to secure YM
 
oh. . . well then i can't help you there. honestly, the same thing used to happen to me, so i just stopped entering them. that, and because i kept getting IMed from bizarre middle aged men from turkey. . . those two things were enough to make yahoo chatrooms not worth it >.<
