i would say, look for an X800GT0 or X800GTO2, they can be easilly clock to x850xt pe speeds, as they are using an R480 core which the X800XT PE uses.

i think the X800GTO 2 and GTO is cheaer than £150.

and they easilly beat a 6800gt and ultra!

they only have i think 12 pipelines enabled, by the other can be unlocked.

    http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/X800PCI_Series.html

look on that page, most are under £150

If your not into tinkering get yourself a 6800GS, great card that's as fast as the 6800GT (which is actually superior to the X800GTO). Very impressive overclocker too which is very easy to do with RivaTuner.

i got the x800 gto by c3d from what i read the card by this maker can be unlocked to 16 pipelines and clocked to over the speed of the 6600gt wich makes it kinda cheep for £116 pounds add the p&p came to £125

the geforce 6800 gs is little under £180 at most uk retailers and i think if the card i get over clocks nicely then it should be better

thx for your post willhub i was gonna get a 6600 gt b4 you mentioned that card dint take long to find out alot about it its twices as good as the 6600 gt on hl2 and other games and at least 150% better on other new releases hope i dont have to upgrade it for a while :D

Cool, that's what I thought, seeing as you guys aren't using the euro symbol in you're posts but I just heard from some apparently unreliable source that all of Europe went to the Euro. Thanks for the confirmation dude.

I don't blame you guys, the pound is worth a lot more than the euro anyway.
